After a lengthly hiatus from this blog, Huang-Goh returns!

I happened upon my Blog while cleaning out my internet explorer shortcuts. Why can't someone come up with a better way to manage IE shortcuts?

I figure it's time to reinvigorate my entries to this blog for all my loyal readers (that is, all 2 of you).

Let's see, what's happened since the past few years? Still in Los Angeles, went through a tough relationship, work at same place. Only change is I moved closer to work. Whopee...my commute is less than 5 minutes. In fact, I walk when the weather is passable.

I went to Olive Garden tonight with some co-workers. An Asian with a cold sore; a talkative white guy with long hair, worn trench coat, and michael-jackson-like gloves; and a 300 pound, former professional football player turned Muslim. The 3 of us made quite an scene at the Olive Garden in Brentwood.

The highlight of the night was when the Muslim said how he loved Olive Garden and their soup and sausage pasta. He has been going several times a month for over 10 years. The cute waitress, who by the way was a graduate from UCLA (huh?), told him the good news - the soup and sausage pasta is made of PORK.

Now, for those of you not familiar with the Muslim faith, pork is forbidden.

I think the waitress, who I can assume is also Muslim because her name translates to "Faithful to Allah," was only trying to help. However she succeeded in wreaking havoc in our dinner conversation. I personally found it amusing. I think he's finished with Olive Garden when he recommended to the host that they call the place "Pig Garden."

Swine. I dig swine. Bacon. Pork chops. Ham. I boycott any religion that would restrict me from good food like swine!
